Well, I took one of your suggestions and decided to go to lunch at Vincent's in Metairie after the bar admission ceremony Thursday. It was excellent.
I had the canneloni (which I guess is their specialty). I found it to be rich (but not too much), and was impressed by how light and flavorful the alfredo sauce was.
Two other people chose the eggplant medalions. Both were very impressed (one said it was the best meal he'd ever had in an Italian restaurant).
The fourth member of our party had the stuffed chicken, and he was also very complimentary about his meal.
So, thanks again, TA, for the excellent recommendation.

glad you enjoyed. The food at the Metairie location is awesome but that interior needs some updating out of the early 90's.
