Assuming the Arkansas game remains a night game, we will have an entire season of night games at home (on or after 6PM) Can't remember the last time that happened. At least there's one thing the Tiger fans can't complain about.

We're no longer the top dog in the SEC. We are down in the pecking order so night games will be more common.

Yea,for CBS's one primetime game of the year they choose an LSU home game. We really suck and are headed in the can.

Not really. MSU, UGA, 'Bama and Ole Mrs being all on the road is the cause for the good fortune of having the night game schedule. It's a good bet we'll have 3 or 4 home day games again next year.

Oh..pardon me.. I guess you're part of the 1% that actually enjoys early kickoffs.

We had quite a few critical night games in 2007, when we won the national championship:

Virginia Tech
Florida
Auburn

Night games and success are not mutually exclusive.

I enjoy watching our team play in the primetime game of the day, does alot for recruiting

Oh,no. According to our geniuses since CBS didn't bump the US Open coverage to move the Vanderbilt game to 2:30, LSU football is in shambles.

If LSU had beaten Fla. the game saturday would probably be 2:30 on CBS

It was talked about at the beginning of the season when we knew UF was a night game.

ETA At the beginning of the season, it was also speculated that it was because of the schedule. If you think that LSU is no longer a big SEC draw, you need to get that lobotomy reversed.

Regardless of what you believe and what you want to write into the statement, it remains true that LSU is no longer top dog in the SEC. We will be 3rd choice or lower depending on matchup. Florida and Alabama will get picked more often for now.

Now as far as night games and success not being mutually exclusive, I pretty much agree with the exception stated above.

4 SEC home games. One was a weekend that CBS didn't show any games. The next was their lone primetime game. Auburn is on ESPN2. Jury is still out on Arkansas.

Georgia was on CBS,Alabama 90% will and Ole Miss is about 50-50.

The Sky is not falling.

Some of you will find anything to whine and complain about.

I didn't say the program was in shambles, but it is quite clear we aren't the #1 or #2 choice like we were the last couple years for CBS 2:30, and I'd rather be in the position we were in 2007. I would rather play the 2:30 cbs games for that reason. And yet, I hate Verne Lundquist with a passion.

Not really, it has more to do with Auburn losing bad to Arkansas and Kentucky as well as Tennessee beating Georgia.

Edit: Our home schedule also sucks outside of Florida, which was the biggest game again on CBS's schedule. In addition, we are probably their #1 game of the week when we play Bama and Ole Miss.
