That he is sticking with Jefferson. Don't know if anybody listened to the show last night but when someone would ask him about Jarrett Lee, he would dance around the question and start talking about developing Jefferson and getting Shepard in the game more. Basically the same coach speak he has been using all season about the offense that we haven't seen happen. All he said about Lee was that he was competing hard in practice. He also went on to say that interceptions cost teams wins, in essence blaming the losses last year on the interceptions.

Well, he's paid the big bucks to make the tough decisions.

I hope that since he has made the decision to go with JJ that he has also decided to work with Crowton to put JJ into position to succeed and quit killing an otherwise championship caliber team.

Thats all fine and good but we will not know anything until this Saturday night against Auburn.

I know that Auburn's D is nothing like Florida's, but we will see what kind of adjustments were made.

But if RS does not get in the game at all.......Bye Bye Miles

No. We are not going to fire Miles this year. But it's a moot point because Shep will play.

So Miles will lose his job because he didn't put a particular player in the game?

Without the picks we win the Alabama and UGA games last year and Lee is still the starting QB.

With the hiring and support last year for Mallory and Pevito, we know Miles doesn't always have the best judgement.

I agree that JJ should remain the starter however. No doubt in my mind. Just want to see Lee play some, couple drives a game.

Wonder if the Lee to Transfer rumors have legs? Could be.

guys when you have players like that. you play them. PERIOD.

Did Pete Carroll not play McKnight?
How about Richardson with Saban?
You know Meyer would have played DeBose......

My point is that when you have talented players that can come in the game and possibly make a difference, you have to play them.

But I just get this impression with Miles watching him on the sidelines that he's just there. No involvement no discussion just a Jerry Jones type with a headset on. A great CEO.

Anyways Geaux Tigers and Geaux Miles. Auburn is a quality opponent that our players will be ready to play and they always look forward to the challenge. Have a great day.

So you don't agree that with decent QB play we would have had a shot v. Florida? I guess you are forgetting the skill on offense (which is understandable given we cannot use it because our QB is so bad). Our DBs are top notch. Our LBs have played well. Both lines could stand to improve but we're one of the top 15 or so teams in the country with awful QB play. Imagine what we could accomplish with a good QB.

If you seriously think that this is dumb, then you need to really ask yourself how big of a Tiger fan you really are.

He didn't put him in at all....at all in the Florida game. If he doesn't get in this game and the rest of the games, do you really want this guy coaching your talented but wasted talented team?

I think miles is making a good call on this. It is showing JJ that hes behind him. I wish they would have did this with JL and just chalk up the bad play to real game experience. Come there Jr. or Sr. years LSU would most likly be looking at another BCS Title. Having a legit shot at a Title every 4 years isnt that bad of a deal.

Sheps a three year player. Means after this year, he has two more years to play here. I don't care if its PR/KR, WR, RB, Slot, QB....get this kid the ball, he is a once in a decade playmaker.
