Is it any fun? I'm thinking about signing up with ESPN, but not sure if it's worth it. Any opinions?

I played for a few years maybe a decade ago. Picked Michael Jordan with the No. 1 pick and placed second overall without making many moves over the course of the season. Here are a few things to think about:

1. Not as many NBA games or highlights are on TV as NFL games (I say that because I watch all the NFL games on Sundays at my local sports bar). When you can't watch as many games, you have to make an effort to get the news on your players and possible waiver wire acquisitions.

2. Although there are fewer starters to find out about in the NBA (as compared to the NFL), the bench players are much more important because that sixth man could be in your line up with just one twist of an ankle.

3. I found it a little harder than the NFL to keep up with the schedule and with the match ups from week to week.

4. If you're a big NBA fan, you'll probably have no trouble.

Hope you enjoy it if you decide to join. The biggest lesson I learned from the experience was to always start Michael Jordan on Sundays because he put on his best show when the whole country was watching. Sorry I can't be of more help.
