I'm aware that these excuses (sans 2005) can inevitably find their way back to MIles, but you can't say he was working under ideal conditions.

2006 is a horrible excuse. What does JaMarcus have to do with anything. He didn't cost us one thing in those 2 loses. Poor play calling did us in at Auburn and an all around horrible team effort fricked us at Florida. In 2007, Scott should have been in the ENTIRE second half, not Hester. Then against Arkansas, we got conservative. They gave us the ball twice inside the twenty and we walked away with SIX points. If we step on their throats there, we win. But Crowton called some bum juice conservative running plays and settled for 3 each time.

I'm of the opinion, and I assume you share it, that everything that went wrong in those games is INDIRECTLY Miles' fault. Having players ready for a game, keeping his Offensive Coordinator hungry, etc. But there's nothing he's done that has directly led to a loss.

There may very well be other coaches not named Saban out there more fitting than Les for our HC spot, but like I said before, If he keeps cranking out 11 win seasons, I don't feel the need to replace him.
