Hey, Tomm, how much did that big statute of JJ that you put up in your front yard cost?
Or was it an altar? you seem to be worshipping the kid.

And he also thought that last year the defense was good but they were just over-thinking. He stated many times that they played good at points and time in the games. Not to mention it took an injury to JL for the pick6 madness to finally come to an end.

quote:
Miles also said this would be his best Oline ever
If in fact they were struggling at practice would you have preferred him to come out and say our O-line is the worst ive ever seen?
Yeah cause having his players feelings at heart and not wanting to decimate these young mens perceptions of themselves as a college coach is just wrong.

Once again, that is why I don't listen to coaches' shows. If you expect anything other than sharing the blame or rhetoric, you are mistaken. I did NOT quote him to back up any statement I ever made. I quoted him because posters were filtering out what he said to back up THEIR points.
As far as the best OL comment, I knew what that was when he said it. You say that when it is either true or it is false but you don't want to accentuate the weakness on your team. I have seen Spurrier do it with QB play, etc. Apparently, you don't listen to those useless halftime comments by coaches on ESPN or CBS games. Their comments have little to do with what actually happened on the field. They are saying the politically correct things.
