What it boils down to is Improvement on Offense

We have seen improvement on defense in these first 6 games but virtually no improvement on offense. They look the same, run the same plays and make the same mistakes as they did since game 1. Jefferson looks no better. For me at least that is what is so frustrating, not the making of mistakes but the lack of improvement on offense.

Auburn's defense is no where near what Florida's defense is. If we struggle (or, God forbid, lose) against Auburn, then we will be looking at an 8-4 or 7-5 finish.

I watched the Miami vs Jets Monday night, and thought that's what LSU needs to do as Miami marched down the field with a drop back passer, then Pat White, wild cat with Ricky and Ronnie Brown. They went for the TD with 10 seconds left, two years ago Miles would have done the same thing Instead of kicking a field goal to tie us at 3 with florida. It tells me he has no confidence in the Offensive line now.We have so much talent a Defense should be shakin in their Boots when we take the field.

You realize there've been literally hundreds of posts in the last 3 days on this topic? At least try to offer your professional insight like all of the rest of the posters.

I'll post what I want to post. And c_Harmon, you are dead on. I also watched the end of that game and thought the same thing, LSU has the folks to run those type of plays so why are they not doing it.

It starts with a "c" and rhymes with "oaching".

How can you say this? From what I saw on Saturday, the offense was VERY offensive.

I agree with the wildcat formation, throw everything out, which hasn't been effective, and try something new
