Please Stop Saying The Defense Played Great

because we held the vaunted Florida offense to 13. It was quite obvious that they knew they could beat us with a scaled back offensive game plan. The most conservative play out of their offensive set was the dive and they ran that down our throats all game. We had nothing to counter the dive which let them know they didn't have to open it up on us and be risky.

Actually the defense did everything but score points. I guess they need to score points, too, every series or they're horrible. ESPECIALLY against the #1 team in the nation.

if you don't think our defense played great, you don't shite about football. their offense was not that conservative. our back seven did not let them open up their pass game. the lone td they got was because of holding hawkins. they ran the plays they did because of our d.

The defense played great. You must not have watched the game. Most of the time Tbow tried to throw he had to pull it down and run -nobody open due to coverage. Florida played their typical offense - our D just shut them down. If Florida could have put 50 on us - you don't think they would have tried? They could not.

Yes, because the history of Meyer shows that he typically holds his offenses back whenever possible.

STFU. UF has never been held to fewer points since Meyer got there. The D was the tits this weekend.
