After watching ESPN College Football Final and seeing many instances where the refs could have flagged excessive celebration and did not, I'd have to call BS on the flags thrown in our game on both sides.
It's like they (refs) had a pregame meeting and decided to concentrate on this penalty.

Impact is a noun.
e.g. The LB hit the QB with an impact.
The Coach had a great impact on his players.
It has been misused in the past many years.
You guys sound right but I'm not so sure. I think perhaps the way it has been used as a verb in sports may have developed over the years, but impact is definitely a verb. Anyhow, I'll stop hijacking the thread.
Impact.

Another good read.
All week long, hell every week really, EVERYBODY including some of our "fans" had nothing but negative garbage to say about the Tigers. Not only on this board, but anywhere one could find information to read, cuz I read 'em. I, along with the select few chose to be positive, expressed our support in lieu of the doom and gloom, "fire Miles", yadda, yadda, yadda.
The season is far from over, and I'm not saying this team won't trip somewhere, hell the Gators and "Superman" are coming to town, but here we are nay sayers, 5 and 0! I think those that were licking their chops to see another top five upset are now upset. LSU is legit. What a great game.
The defense contiues to get better and I beleive did a great job. Offense moved the ball well between the 20s most of the first half with the better field position and just needed to convert a little better. We could go on and on, but the game I watched, The LSU Tigers were the better team. Period.
Here we go!

Great article/post.
At the bottom, it asks if the win converted any doubters. It didn't convert me. But then I've been a believer in this team and this coach all along.
Can't wait for Saturday night in Tiger Stadium! It's gonna be wild!

We got the big WWWWWW I'll say it now!!! Good teams make there own luck. LSU is lucky lucky lucky!!! The coach's play calling was bad you never take points off the board we should have kicked the FG In stead of going for it on fourth and 1 what was LM thing.

A great win
Scott looked like HE wanted to hurt the Def. not the other way around.
Bad coaching at end of first half
Team getting better as season goes
Wish I could be there for the reptiles next week
Damn good game to watch....sorry poodle fans

Too positive. The Rantards won't be able to follow the article.

It is both a noun and a verb depending on its use. So one less frustration, Carl.
