I have an xbox 360 Elite and its standing up on a hard surface. The only quadrant that is red is the lower right one. Any idea what this means? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that is a warning... Think it let's you know something isn't right. When it goes all red, then it is done

It wouldn't be a ring if only a quarter of it was red, now would it?

I had this happen once. I did the "wrap in a towel and turn it on for 15 minutes" trick and it worked for like a month afterward until it did it again.

I heard that the reason this temporarily works is because it makes the system get so hot that whatever part breaks apart, causing the RROD, literally melts back together.

xbox website tells you what to do. at least it did when it happen to me a couple years ago. Back then though, you could actually call up xbox and humans would talkt to you to guide u through the problem.

E73: General Hardware Error: Ethernet port... this error is caused by a problem with the Ethernet port.

does unplugging your n/w cable and restarting change anything?
