Do you think the Tiger Defense needed something that could bring them together?? I really thought the D played extremely hard and was flying to the ball, but they just needed something to help them believe that they really could do it...

The d is certainly going to have to step up. They will have to carry us the rest of the way.

Until we get a clutch play in a key situations w/o getting a penalty, there will be no turning point.

Was thinking the same thing. Definitely played hard but has room to improve. Hope the offense do the same.

They were doing a great job pressuring the QB. They played unbelievable in the 1st half, but just seemed to wear out against the run in the 2nd. We still limited them to under 3.5 a carry. LSU's defense will need to step up more bc they will be on the field A LOT if we continue to struggle running the ball (effective run game = more rest time for Def).

probably not...had it been against a regular season team probably yes, but not against a preseason team.

You mean like Chad Jones deflecting a sure TD on 3rd and goal with the game on the line???????????????? Seriously

He made a great individual play.

I was talking more of the delay of game penalties that were running rampant on saturday.

I agree...too sporatic...flashes of greatness and then....Dixon pounds it up the middle.
I think we are soft up the middle....And we will see much better O-lines and backs in the future...the defense has a long way to go...but I hope the goal line stand is motivation....I sure liked it

This is a concern for me too, but not because of our interior defenders. Its more a fatigue concern bc of OUR poor running game. If we can't run the ball that means we will always be behind on time of possession which means our defense being on the field more.

STEVE,

I sure as hell hope so.

I love LSU football. I live for it. Good times & Bad.

I grow tired of hearing the nega-tigers bitch, whine, moan, and complain everytime we get a penalty, everytime we don't convert a 3rd down, everytime we don't score on a drive and they do.

I almost can't even look at this board on Saturday's....it's sickening how sorry some fans are.
