not my intention....I'm hoping 3sheets will reply and tell me... he does good technical analysis ....I just don't have a good feeling on if I should sell or not .... I do like this company long, but I think it may be good to trade...

That depends on how many shares you bought....

I dont know anything about the company or news or anything.

I check out technicals as a supplement, not the end all be all. It's trading outside the 3 month bollinger band, which could mean it could come down. The MACD has leveled off and could start to trend downward, meaning in the next day or two you could see downward price action. RSI is going upward around 70 percentile, which is good for the momentum. My educated guess would be that it would come down within the next trading day or two.

That's just beginner chart reading and I have no idea about this company

ETA: Threesheets, how's my technical analysis, good or suck?

gap up, hammer, then big red candle. Doesn't look good.

If you sell is it a long term cap gain (assuming in non qualified account)? If so take some gains off the table - if not maybe hold to you have had for a year and then qualify for long term gains

why dont you scale out and sell enough to get your money back and play with the house's money?

and if it goes up more, sell 50% of the rest and so on

That philosophy never has really made good sense to me because its really all my money all the time .... If I control it, it's mine and not free money ....but I may take some off....sometimes when I make a lot in a short period of time, I can't help but take some off even I'm very long the stock

Fundamental analysis is up to you, but the chart looks pretty good.

And MVIS is looking good. Healthy stocks stair-step along. I think it's got some more consolidation left before the next run. That run a couple weeks ago was some exciting though.

thanks bro, good stuff ..... im curious, without doing any work, do you have any examples already worked up of a decent company with a bad chart CURRENTLY ? (what I'm getting at is, are almost all charts looking technically strong right now ?)
