I watched JJ throw them in the ground all through high school. Every game he would one and two hop his throws to receivers. I think thats why your seeing limited throws from him. I was never impressed with is arm/accuracy in HS.

All coachable. He has the tools to be great. I do however wish he had a little more zip in his arm.
