Hasnt showed up yet, team plays on Monday, letting teammates down.
I though he was a high character type of guy. When you're paid millions of dollars to play football, the least you can do is be a fricking pro. Who gives a shite you thought you were getting a new deal from the Pats, the team signing your checks now is Oakland. The NFL is turning into a fricking drama.
I hope his agent told him about the consequences.

The teams and owners rarely ever show loyalty to players, so I have no problem with players not showing loyalty to teams.

There's a big difference between a punk little kid and a super bowl winning veteran, I think.

I hate it since I drafted Seymour. I hope Sed Ellis can do well at DT since I don't have Seymour.

In today's NFL, where the advantage is to the player's, players have no excuse. Players are way overpaid to even slightly complain about ownership. Contracts are almost a mockery to the players, whenever a player feels slightly underpaid, they'll holdout for a new contract. It's not like he's losing contract money in the trade.

He's not being a bitch at all. He's been a Patriot his whole career and has helped them win 3 titles. The Patriots are bitches for trading him in the first place. I might not show up the entire season.

not me, dude is showing the Pats that after years of hardwork, loyalty, and dedication, you just can't jettisson me off like some POS. frick them.

and your argument about players is weak, in the dark days of football well up until the 90's, owners and FO personnel dominated and treated players like garbage while makin huge profits, if they are getting the highlife today, more power to them.

Well, he can just not show up, but will he? Is he ready to screw himself and his beloved Patriots? Cause he will sit out the year, not get paid, forfeit free agency for next season, and Pats give Oakland back their pick.

I would be upset too if I was Seymour, but he eventually needs to get over it and move on. He's only going to hurt himself by remaining a holdout.

Who said anything about disloyalty? He isn't honoring a contract that he signed.

Sounds like a good character guy. He'll fit right in at Oakland.

has nothing to do with character, the guy is just angry and you cannot blame him. I imagine after he simmers down, he'll to the right thing and report, but I would be pissed also.

He'll show up eventually play the 8 games, I think, that it takes to accrue a year towards his FA.

NO WAY does he bother to sign an extension with Oakland though.

He should get to Oakland to start helping them... the more he helps oakland, the more it hurts the pats.
