I like JJ for a number of reasons.....

1. His ball handling (faking, execution) is excellent
2. Great instincts and decision making
3. His throwing ability
4. He's fast
5. He seems to have a great attitude
6. He's totally in to the game and appears to be a great leader at the ripe old age of 19.

Very pleased with this guy. Geaux JJ...

None of that is surprising. He's shown that before.

We need him to be a bigtime really good QB for us to win the West though. I know he's 19, but that's the way it looks. He needs to be more than just pretty good.

I think he CAN be a good college QB but I also can tell you the coaches have zero confidence in him throwing the ball right now. Did we throw the ball 10 yards downfield one time?

I agree, and hope to see more vertical passing next week at home. I believe we are better than the conservative offensive gameplan we displayed last night.

I do to. If it wasn't for LSU's defensive meltdown against Arkansas, he would still be undefeated as a college and high school starting QB. The guy knows how to win. Did not see one single play on offense last night where you could say, "man, that was horrible". I think however, many people said that many times last year.

Of course some tards are more worried about the stats than winning the game. Duh!

I also like him. My biggest concern is the number of big shots he is taking. If that keeps up, he will have his eggs scrambled before mid-season.

I appreciate his passion but he may need to be a little smarter in deciding when to avoid the big hits (and I am sure that will come with experience).
