Because of the stupid idiots that cry because everything didn't go according to their plan. Go find another team to root for! I hope your boss has the same expectations that you do because he would fire you in a heart beat.

Did you watch the game??? Do you know anything about football or how to win??
If you were a YMCA kid growing up and happy with a "good game" and a pat on the back, then you don't get it...

Would you agree we have been a top 5 program this decade? I would say top three. So, that is acceptable play from a top 5 program? Sounds like you're the idiot.

go away. This is an LSU board where we discuss the performance of the team. If a guy gets burned or throws an interception I'm not going to say "ooooh thats ok. He tried hard. The result doesn't matter so long as he tried." frick that. I get into the game as do other guys around here and talk with emotion. Piss off pussy.

Most prolly feel Iowa, Penn St, Ohio St, Virginia, Oklahoma were better.
4 things folks:
(1) That was not an 0-15 Washington team (not close)
(2) Locker is a very good QB
(3) Washington has logged half again the practice hours that LSU has.
(4) The late Pacific Coast start was very tough on LSU.

I am not surprised at the reactions on the board tonight. Most had what were probably unrealistice expectations-
All of those who were hyping a blowout failed to take into account that Locker didn't play much last year. Sarkesian is a better coach than Willingham, etc. Everyone was basing expectations on last year and the situation at Washington is very different this year.
On the other hand, LSU's defense tonight was not anywhere near expectations. It was porous, poor on third downs, not as aggressive on the pass rush, and failed to contain the opposing QB. It didn't match the hype and looked way too much like last year. Fans are naturally reacting with disappointment. Maybe overreacting, but then that's what fans tend to do.
The offense was very vanilla. That didn't bother me much. I think it was mainly to give Jefferson confidence, minimize mistakes and it started to open up in the 2nd half. I was pleased with his poise and overall performance. I was, however, disppointed that we didn't seem to have as powerful a running attack as most expected.
While LSU won, I think many fans see a lot of concerns, especially on the defense. Third down and long was absolutely atrocious. While Locker one of the two best QBs we will see this year (Tebow being the best one), Snead is no slouch. And we don't know yet how good Mallette will be at Arkansas.
I am not ready to panic yet, but I am far from comfortable that our defense is ready for the SEC. Vandy could be a much tougher game than many will expect.

No thanks. Always a Tiger. That doesn't preclude mention of weaknesses.
I'm have no intention of acquiescing to mediocrity.

If you are ashamed to be an LSU fan then you are the one that needs to find another team to root for. Either that or move somewhere far away from other LSU fans and get off of LSU fan message boards.

I am often ashamed. The worst for me are the idiots who wear LSU gear and go out of state and claim to be tiger fans but they are the biggest idiots ever and THAT is what people outside of LA sees and something about this just gets to me..

The fact is LSU has a better team this year than any team prior to the 03 championship season.
With 2 national championships comes higher expectations. Back in the day a win against Bama and ole miss in the same season was great and a win in the peach bowl was awesome. Winning changes a program and the fans. Anything less than a dominate victory every week and a national title is a disappointment especially with all this talent.
