He ends by trying to panic LSU fans

quote:

But the most worrisome thing is this. LSU coaches who have completely closed practices never won again. Those were Gerry DiNardo and Curley Hallman.

Lord Saban must be panicking as well...

quote:

"We let you come to practice. If you're going to speculate on the depth chart and who's starting at what positions," Saban said, "then I'm going to close practice — for everybody. So nobody's going to get to come at all."

Media are typically allowed to watch two periods (roughly 10-15 minutes) at the start of Alabama's preseason practices.

All media members get their panties in a wad about this kind of thing, trust me I know. GG can say all he wants that he doesn't care but when coaches close practices, even the 10-15 minute window it does piss media members off. He's not the only one. As much as he doesn't want to admit it, it does help to see even a little practice as a media member. He'll get over it

I went to Walgreen's yesterday and was surprised they now sell a freshy-freshy "Guilbeau-scented" douche.

If I wanted Finebaum-lite, I'd ask.

if you dont let Guilbeau into practice- you lose, plain and simple

If you dont want to see Guilbeau desperately trying to cheat on his wife with college chicks that dont give him a second look, dont go to Walk-Ons during football season.

"Football coaches are just paranoid, have seen too many war movies and they think injury knowledge matters. Meanwhile, baseball coaches not only tell you who's hurt, but they tell you who's pitching today, tomorrow and the next day. Therefore, baseball coaches are real men."

Wow! Last time that I checked. No college baseball coach had the success of the entire university's athletic program dependent on his success either.
