JJ probably maxes out at 65. Looks like Lee and Garrett can chuck it between 55-60. Shep probably maxes 50-55.

It seems to me Garrett throws the hardest, just not the farthest.

I've been saying this all along, until I finally let the J.L. / J.J. debate go... meaning that J.J. throws with more velocity. But, we all know J.L.'s arm strength wasn't the problem. The only reason I even commented about it was that so many posters raved on and on about J.L.'s release, arm strength, etc. as if it were the determining factor in who should start.

Arm strength manifests itself in different ways though. JJ looks to me like he will be like Flynn, not the rifle arm or the great distance arm of most NFL prospects, but he can get it past 50 easy enough and still have a good deal of touch on it. (And hopefully accuracy.)

Flynn could throw a nice deep ball but showed limited arm strength for throwing out routes.
