eta: I did this search for you... these are the actual rates from hotels.com for the auburn game weekend. I would stay at extended suites or the la quinta which was just renovated.

If you are a high roller, the hilton or sheraton... they ought to have shuttles to the game from there.

Extended Stay is a no frills kinda place, but it is very reasonably priced. We stayed there last year before the App State game, and we've already booked rooms there for this year.

There are also places to stay in Port Allen which is right across the bridge from campus. Not sure if they hotels are nice, but it might be worth looking into.

we live in North Miss and come down for a couple of games each year both football and baseball and have found Sleep Inn to be a good one. 10332 Plaza americana Dr. at intersection of I12 and Airline Hwy. Coffee in room and free contential breakfast. 225-926 8488.

They're building a Staybridge Suites next door to Walk-On's - not sure if finished yet. But it will immediately be the closest hotel to The Den and The Box.

Jackpot! Accepting reservations after Sept. 16th at new Staybridge Suites by campus. Finished in time for the Auburn game if you want in.

Sorry - guess you need to get an early jump on Staybridge for 2010.

The new Staybridge is available for all games, but they have a 3 night minimum. How crazy is that? I called their front desk and if you put in that you will stay 3 nights on their website, rooms are available. Who is coming from out of town and staying 3 nights in Baton Rouge for football?
