Harrington was over 61% in Atlanta in 2007. Vick has never been close to 60%.

He still threw for more INTS than TD's. Say what you want about Vicks accuracy but his TD-INT Ratio is MUCH better than Harringtons. And avoiding INT's "is pretty key in our or any other offense"

once again what the hell has vick done in his career as a qb. run for 1000 yds a year. he makes one read and either runs or throws to crumpler or warrick dunn. defenses as figured out the running want a be qb. why not just be a rb/wr. plus i believe he only played 2 full seasons. he sucks i would rather harrington is peytons system.

Accomplished more in his career than Joey fricking Harrington thats for sure.

Let Joey Harrington lead a team to a .500 record let alone a NFC championship game, before you start questioning what people have or have not accomplished.

I dont want Vick on the Saints, but I'll take Vick over Harrington any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Vick beats the shite out of having a 50 year old Brunell as the backup.

Uh.....NO, it doesn't. Have you seen vick try and read coverages and throw to the right receivers? 2 years in the pen won't help that and he's had to have lost a step or two. Our offense is predicated on someone with half a brain making decisions behind center....that aint Vick.

Payton would base the offense around PT and Vick's running ability.

Have you just started watching Peyton's offense? You really think he's gonna run first.....with anyone?

I heard the Saints might be interested in Rae Carruth when he gets out of prison. Do you guys think he'll be able to work his way into the starting lineup?

I think that this guy: LINK and Vick need to have a sit-down conversation.

72 td's 54 int's with a 52% passer rating. No I'll take Harrington over Vick as a passer

Vick as a back-up to Brees:
If Brees were to go down, I don't know if any available quarterback would be able to come in and right the ship.

Vick as a QB:
M. Vick was never that good of a quarterback. He had a rocket arm, but never read defenses that well, was never that accurate and never reacted that quickly. He was like a one read then run type QB. That was when he was playing and practicing every week. His reaction skills are probably worse now that he's been out of the game for a while.

Vick as and Athlete:
M. Vick was a hell of an athlete. He probably was one of the best I've ever seen. Term to worry about there though is was. What kind of shape is he in? Can he still run like he did? How will his body hold up now that he is older?

Vick to the Saints:
I don't like this move and it doesn't make much sense. If your offense is built around passing, you don't bring in a running quarterback, especially if his passing skills are suspect and you now have to question his athletic skill as well. Brunell did a good job last year in the preseason, and would hopefully get us through a game or two if need be. Finally, we don't "need" him, so why bring in someone who will distract from the team more than he will contribute.
