I got a pamphlet today in the mail to see if I wanted to order permanent seatback for all the home games.
$40 a seat. When did they say they were going to do this.

Forty bucks for the whole season? Not a bad deal. I guess with more pressure being put on football to be the big cash cow they are going to start doing stuff like this.

I buy my tickets from the same person every year, so it looks like I'd have to get all of their info to be able to get these. I don't really think they're comfortable and wouldn't need them for shitty games, but for the games that get crowed, we always end up being all smashed up in our seats when we try to sit every now and then. This could fix that.

They started the same thing at Ohio State a couple years back. I think it was more around 70 bucks for them here though.

We've had these things for years at DKR, but I'm not a big fan of them. While it's true that it does clearly define your space (they're bolted in place for the entire season), they're not the most comfortable seats and it can get tight when several are together in a group. The best thing about them is that they help keep people from sitting on your row if their tickets are for seats elsewhere in the stadium. This is a huge problem in the section where my parents have their tickets.

I am a season ticket holder and I didn't get this offer. Where did it come from? Hope mine comes soon. Do these seats stay in the stadium all season long? Wonder what happens if one gets broken or someone takes it?
