SEC ESPN TV Deal Question

Sorry if it's been asked...my understanding was that every SEC conference game AND every SEC home non-conference game not on the network package (assume that means CBS) would be on the ESPN family of networks. Why then, are the Miss St-Auburn game and Miss St-Vandy games being shown on Fox Sports Net? Not to mention, a couple of non-conference home games are being shown on CSS.

I think FSN and CSS bought some SEC games from ESPN.

ESPN can't broadcast every game, they have contracts with other conferences and don't have enough free slots for every SEC game. Because of that they sold 8 games to CSS and 7 games to FSN South. 1 or 2 games might be shown on ESPN Classic. Each team can have up to 1 PPV game, that fills out the remaining SEC games.
All of the above games will also be on ESPN GamePlan / ESPN360.

Thanks...to both of you. I'm just trying to decide whether to keep GamePlan. If only one LSU game is going to be on there (the primary reason I have it) I may not.

Shreveport Times says The Shreveport area and
NW Louisiana will get the SEC games on KMSS Fox 33
KSHV Channel 45. This is when the games are not on ESPN. Thank God DirecTv is scheduled to show
Shreveport Network channels in HD starting August 9th. I am just quoting the Times if this is wrong
I'm sorry.
