Well guys, you know what we signed last year, so we really don't need any this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't sign a single DT in the 2010 class.

I suspect Akiem Hicks will be one of the four DT that rotate in the first team this year if he is any good.

I look for Josh Downs and Chris Davenport to redshirt this year.

We could take two or three next year and still be in great shape.

Don't let the fact that we don't sign any this year worry you. Miles & Co. have it well in hand.

And, by not signing any this year, it sends a message to kids: no matter how good you are, you better have the grades.

The fact that LSU didn't offer Lacy and only half heartedly offered Sentemore late, also sends the same message.

I believe you should sign quality DTs in every single class. Having a load of depth at the D-line has been one of the pillars of our success over the past several years. You can't have enough of them, IMO.

No, we still need to sign one DT in this class. Davenport, Downs, and Edwards are good; but depth is needed behind them. If there is any position a team should oversign at, IMO it should be DL. You need to be able to rotate those guys in and out, and keep the pressure on QBs.
