It should not be in New Orleans due to the fact that the winner would in all liklihood have to come back in a month to play the sugar bowl. Other than LSU and Bama, most fan bases would have a hard time making the trip twice in a month.

I am okay with Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa. Birmingham is too cold in December, as is Nashville.

So why the frick is it fair for LSU to lose to Georgia (in the dome) in 2005's SECCG, only to have to make the return trip to the Peach bowl weeks later?

It doesn't matter if they play on the same field twice or not, and the other Sugar Bowl team is typically an at-large anyways, so who gives a frick about them?
