if not for the holding + personal foul on the field goal, we're up by 17 and that game is over

Now personally I agree with the idea of moving the games around. I don't want to hear it's too cold to do it in the north considering huge playoff games in the NFL are done the following weekend.

I do not however believe it has made that big of an impact in NCGs. I believe LSU was 7-10 points better than OSU in 07.

Among us runners, there is an old saying about Ok. They hardly leave the state. Believe it is a drop off. The only reason that Texas doesn't fall into the Gulf is because ok s-cks.
Their runners go to Dallas to run the marathon because that is their mecca.

Kind of ironic that you all are making fun of Oklahoma fans complaining about past losses. At least they were this decade. There is a thread on this board every couple of months where you all are still griping about losing to USC - IN 1979!! Pot, meet kettle.

My brother gets Fiesta Bowl tickets every year. We've been to OU/Boise St, OU/WVU & UT/OSU just this past year....we always wear our LSU gear of course. Out of all the fan bases from all the schools, OU fans were the only ones who acted like repugnant sissies. They were so cocky to Boise State fans, it was horrible. It was maaawvelous after the game though.

I would looooove to work or live near OU fans.

And the greatest offense in college football history (at the time), had about 67 yards of offense by the end of the 3rd quarter if I'm not mistaken? Yeah, they totally dominated. Wasn't as close as the score indicated.

LSU has fared well in ATL. but it's not uncommon to find LSU fans expressing dismay at the seccg being in ATL every year and floating ideas for potential alternative sites.

Oklahoma and Nebraska fans are BY FAR the most knowledgeable and friendly fans I have ever encountered at a college football game. Of course, no fan base enjoys losing so I'm quite sure some of that angst translates to what you all would classify as unclassy. Of course, how "classy" is your "Tigerbaiting" tradition? Just asking.

What OU game did you go to? All fans have assholes. Alot of fans make excuses. I heard the OU play-by-play guy on a radio interview here before the Fiesta Bowl vs WVU making excuses for the beating they took agains USC. It's pathetic, that's all. Anyone who make excuses for a 35+ point beating is an idiot.

I had to hear my neighbor who is a USC fan with his "if it weren't for Booty's injury we would've beaten Stanford and been in the NC game"...bullshite. That's totally ridiculous.

The OU fans who complain about the 2004 Sugar Bowl/BCS National Championship game aren't nearly as pathetic as those whose team didn't even qualify to play in that game and still claim a National Championship.

I actually had an OU fan say "Its not fair LSU got to play Ohio St. in the Championship game, and OU has to play an SEC team." I said dude...We play 8 SEC teams a year, and 9 if we make the SEC Championship.

I've been to several, both at the L.A. Coliseum and in Norman. My business partner, who has been a spotter for a national college radio broadcast group since 1996, agrees with me that a trip to Norman as a visiting fan is one of the most enjoyable CFB gameday experiences one can have.

In regard to JDB and his injury: First of all, I don't talk about it and never have. It is what it is. TFOTMI, he broke his finger during the first half of the Stanford game, didn't tell the coaches and ended up throwing something like four INT's in the second half. Yeah, USC probably would have won if he hadn't gotten hurt or if Coach Carroll had replaced him with Sanchez. But, didn't happen and water under the bridge. Wasted energy to spend time lamenting what could have been.

Point is, call out every fan base for making excuses then. Of course everyone makes excuses...some are valid some are not (OU/LSU & OU/USC).

I was a year old in '79 so I dont know what the beef is on that USC/LSU game.

There's an diehard OU fan and his wife that walk around our neighborhood frequently always sporting the OU gear...They once were neighborly, would say hello, etc. to me,wife, kids until one day I was working in the front yard with an LSU shirt...they won't even make eye contact anymore much less speak. I snicker every time that douche walks by my house now...21-14 bitch!

Who yanked your chain. You're just pissed you lost to Texas in your backyard. Other than that I haven't seen anyone talking about USC on this board in a while unless it is about them getting ready to be on probation.
