If anything, consistency in hitting is what gives ASU the advantage over LSU. LSU's 1-2 punch at starting p is better than ASU's. But ASU's hitters are less vulnerable to pitchers changing from either side of the mound, mostly because ASU's hitters seem to be able to hit opposite field better than LSU.

If Anythony Ranaudo pitches like he did during the season, while the LSU bats continue to hit lefties like they have the last couple of weeks (and not poorly like they did during the season), LSU would have a decent shot at a 2 game sweep against ASU. Having those two things happen at the same time against ASU might be a big if though.
