If you're like me and grew up in the 90's, you can appreciate some of the awful game ideas that SNES was turning out in the early and mid nineties. For example, who remembers Home Improvement for SNES? I actually remember renting this. Quite possibly the worst/best game ever.

quote:

The player's weapons include modified tools such as a nail gun, a blowtorch (used as a flamethrower), and a chainsaw which inexplicably hurls energy waves. These weapons are used to fight dinosaurs, acid-spewing mummies, robot sentries, and other enemies from the popular 90's sitcom.

It is also worth noting that the game had no manual; its splash screen explained, “Real men don’t need instructions.”

incomparably bad

I just recently broke out the SNES again. I forgot how good of a game Super Mario RPG is (even in its simplicity and childish storyline), and of course Final Fantasy II(IV) and III(VI) are classics.

I have actually got Home Improvement for the SNES . The funnest SNES games imo are: Super Mario World, Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario Kart, NBA Jam, NBA Jam TE (any of ya'll remember you could unlock Will Smith, Bill Clinton haha and some more) Donkey Kong Country, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Mortal Kombat 1,2,3, Tecmo Super Bowl, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Earthworm Jim, Kirby Super Star, F-Zero, Super Punch Out. I could go on and on and on. So many fun games for the SNES.
