Please te me why LSU, a ranked team, fails to score more runs against subpar competition.

PM doesn't give a shite about winning midweek games. Plus we don't play our starters in midweek games.
Plus...it is just baseball man.

Guess you have never played baseball before (at least at any level worth talking about)

In baseball you have have great hits right at someone and the other team can get bloopers, jammed hits, swinging bunts, seeing eye singles, ect.

There are so many variable, intangebles, ect. that lead to a score. Better teams in theory shound have better odds.

Again, remember in the majors, winning 100 games and losing 62 games makes for an elite regular season. Thats not even a .667 winning percentage.

We scored 6 runs, it's a pretty average number of runs, then we ran into some pretty good pitching the last few innings. It's very explainable.
