Grandparents will be in town this weekend to celebrate their 50th anniversary and want to go out to eat on Friday some place that has good boiled seafood. They want me to pick a place for us to go but I usually do that stuff on my own. Any suggestions on where to go?

They are staying at the Hilton downtown and my grandfather doesn't get around too well anymore so, all other thing being equal, a closer choice is better but not a deal breaker.

Thanks

bump...not that Sammys is a problem, but is there ANY other restaurant in BR where you can get a boiled assortment of seafood (crabs, shrimp, crawfish)?

Parrain's isn't too far from there. Take the acadian exit and you're right there.

There's a place on Perkins past Seigen (towards Highland)- Stablier's. We have used them for catering (crawfish boils) and eaten there- they are yummy-
Also (but it is to go place)- Tony's Seafood

There's a place around Industriplex by the Simple Simon that had really good boiled shrimp po'boys- not sure if its still around.

If you find somewhere else- let me know- I love boiled seafood and can't get it up here (at least I don't order it here) and would love to know some places when I go home

The Crawfish Place, not sure if it's still around either.

Closest place to the Hilton is going to be Parrin's.
