It's always the same: if he just putts worth a shite, he wins running away. He was pretty god awful again this week. I think of the guys who made the cut, he had the most putts overall (possibly Els had fewer) and the most putts per green in regulation.

He wasn't terrible on Sunday, but it was still subpar (no pun intended). If he had just putted like the middle of the pack, he would have won.

It IS part of the game JT.

And bitching about Tiger's putting will not get you very far. He's only the best out there with the flat stick.

I mean if Arron brooks did not have to actually throw the ball, he would be a Hall of Famer.

and you know what else could happen:
i could go out there hit it 300 down the middle every hole, hit every green in regulation, and make birdie every other hole and win the tournament.

he fricking lost, not the end of golf

wasn't it Phil who missed a 3/4 ft eagle and 3/4 ft birdie putts on the back?
not to mention he took a 5 on a 160 yrd par 3.

Yeah, I thought that just based on yesterday Phil showed more talent than Tiger overall. If Phil would have made a couple putts on the back nine, and not hit it in the water on 12, he would have put in a performance for the ages.

There is no doubt Tiger is the best and probably the best ever, but noone goes undefeated in golf. Sorry this isn't women's basketball.

has more to do with where he put the ball on the greens, not with how well he was putting. Phil actually putted worse than Tiger, from a technical standpoint, but hit better iron shots.

if you've never seen Augusta in person, you have no idea how wicked those greens are. As Ray Floyd said, you don't read the greens at Augusta, you remember them.

I was definitely rooting for Tiger, But Shingo Katayama might be my new favorite to root for if he's near the top of the leaderboard:

Yet he still beat Tiger.

Tiger's human.

The fact that Tiger was even in contention was amazing.

I agree. Tiger didn't give himself much of a chance Sunday with a lot of those birdie putts. He actually putted pretty well. He lost because he hit the ball like shite. Although, I think it was the opposite Thursday where he hit the ball really well, but couldn't make shite.

No

5-3=2 and 12-9=3, he would have lost by 1

Tiger putted fine, he made numerous par saving 8 footers

He needs to learn how to hit his driver straight like Kenny Perry
