I guess it's not that strange, but interesting -- I saw 2 different people on the same trip. One guy at the Madrid airport in Spain before we took off, then another guy at Charles du Gaul airport terminal in Paris once we landed.

Last year in Bangkok, Thailand. I was walking to a mall in my LSU jersey and a guy with a LSU shirt asked me if I had been able to see any of the games.

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. When I went to look at this apartment in 2004, which I am still living in today, the Egyptian man who opened the door had a LSU cap on, as did I. He said Go Tigers !!! I was like WTF, "how do you know about LSU"...His two sons were attending LSU. Throughout my travels, I have seen LSU gear in Africa, Thailand, Malaysia, and Bali to name a few. Many flights home I see guys in Amsterdam in transit heading home with the P & G on....

I saw a couple of people with LSU gear on in the French Qtr the day of the 2008 Sugar Bowl. At the time, I didnt think anything of it.

Cozumel Mexico. Getting off the cruise ship and there was a little tiki bar with a grass roof. On top of said grass roof was a LSU national champ banner. Pretty cool.
