Unless J.J. gets hurt he will be the starting Q.B.

for the first game. No, I'm not a coach. It's a fact. Anyone who thinks otherwise is dumb. I don't wanna hear how much J. Lee has improved. Improved from what? He can do it in practice all he wants but until he does it in a game it doesn't matter.

Thanks Coach. I have a feeling we are going all the way with you leading us.

I'll agree that odds are JJ will be the starter come game time.
But I would not be surprised at ALL if Lee impresses sufficiently in the camps that they would split time to some degree and he will see more time than just garbage against patsy opponents.

This thread was doomed to be retarded from the get-go.

Of course Lee is doing good in practice. He performs great in any situation where the pressure isn't on him: for instance,
1) the auburn game. He came off the bench as a back up. He was not really expected to perform well, just to take some snaps. Then he won the game.
2) the troy state game. Everyone had already left the building, except of course for myself and the 300,000 other people who claim to have been there. But seriously - no one was watching, and we were down by 28 - nothing to lose.

Congratulations on your firm grip on the obvious.

Let's rephrase this. If you asked everyone on this board if they had to bet their life savings on who the starting QB would be (baring injury) for the first game, and probably even for the season, I am sure you would get a near 100% bet on JJ. I don't think there is much question about that.
