Lee is more experienced of the 3, but as far as starting QB- it has to be between Lee and JJ. Shepherd will have an outstanding time at LSU and will make his plays, but not sure about him stepping right into the starting QB role right away.

does anyone remember Staffords freshmen year at UGA? he seemed to work out pretty well after a crappy season.

No, hopefully he gains the ability to read defenses and not force the ball into double and triple coverages....and i hope he learns to scan the field properly and use his 2nd and 3rd receiver options......i hope he learns to do these things so he doesn't lose anymore games for us

Look, Jordan Jefferson is the starter, and I'm happy about that.

But you all need to back off of Jarrett Lee because of last year. Really, what's the point of a thread like this? Let's trot the kid out in front of everyone so he can take ANOTHER public beating? Is that it? He's not even the starter anymore!!

Lee is working hard on getting better in practice this spring... so if he DOES get another opportunity, he can represent YOUR lazy unappreciative and judgemental asses as an ambassador of LSU on the field. It would be nice to see more than a few of you respect that for a change.

I can't understand how anyone can compare the two. The only defense they both faced was Ole Miss. JJ came in and threw a TD then went 5-13 in the second half, sacked 4 times, and threw a pick returned for 49 yards (tackled at the 13). Lee was injured on a third down, 21 yard pass to Lafell where he stood in there and took the hit.

I would like to see Lee get a chance to get back in the game to prove himself.

I'm good with whoever coach Miles decides to play.

I'm just impressed with the way JJ manages the offense, the kid took over the the huddle the last game, the bowl game, big improvememet from the Arky game when he was a lil shaky, understandbly since he was a true frosh, why can't anyone else see this?

I suspect JL will win this competition. The best passer usually does and should.

Hey MSUtiger, add me to the list of those who have continually defended JL.

I've also never talked down JJ. Whomever is on the field will have my support.

I just don't think it's a foregone conclusion that it will be JJ. In fact, when you examine the body of work, JL was more successful against much stiffer competition.

Can some of your tards get off your knees in front of JL and just accept JORDAN JEFFERSON is our QB. Thats it end of question. JJ played 100 times better than JL did the whole season in his 2 games. Get over it. JJ is our QB.
