Manchester Utd vs FC Porto
Arsenal vs Villereal

Barcelona vs Bayern Munich
Chelsea vs Liverpool

As a ManU fan, this is a the best possible draw and also leaves open the possibility for another all English Final

UEFA CL Website

ManU definitely got the best draw for the quarters, but im not complaining!

Liverpool vs Chelsea is going to be frickin EPIC!

Barca vs. Bayern is going to be one of the most exciting matchups I think we will see in a long while as they both scored a shitton of goals in their last CL matchups.

not much to say about Arsenal vs Villareal...

Wow, Villareal has gotten so many favorable draws in the past few years. I guess this UEFA's way of trying to tell us the draw isn't rigged. After all, why would they want a little Spanish team to get all the easy games, while Man U and Inter have to play each other

And I, as a ManUtd fan, will also be paying close attention to the Chelsea vs Liverpool matches because those are the 2 EPL contenders, and Rafa ALWAYS put CL as priority, so Im hopin that pool def drop points in the league around their CL fixtures...

I think ManU will win the EPL title even if Liverpool do not drop another point.

I certainly hope that will be the case, esp after that 4-1 THRASHING to liverpool last weekend which should have woke them up, but a few difficult opponents left, although about 7 out of the last 9 or 10 fixtures for ManU and Pool are common opponents, so the opportunity to drop points will be there for both squads. Both have Villa and Arsenal left, as well as Tottenham, Hull City, and Fulham, so Im hopin ManU can pull some pts out of the Villa and Arsenal games and Liverpool cant

Hmm, I'm pretty frickin' chuffed with Arsenal's draw. It will be funny to see geezers like Capdevila, Senna, and Pires (welcome home, Bobby) try and contain Theo.

But they should be tough to contend with. Hope Ade and Cesc have been taking their vitamins.

Well it appears Man Utd will be in the final again. Barcelona have a tough draw with Bayern and they are home first for the quarters and if they progress, they'll be home first for the semi's against Liverpool or Chelsea. Not the dream draw that I had in mind, but we must do what we have to do. I'm just praying for a Chelsea win over Liverpool...

Would you prefer to be home first?

I'd prefer to play at home in the second leg just because you know what you can and can't give up. Obviously you aim to win both games but it's much better to go to the away leg first and get a goal there and then defend your away goal at home since away goals mean so much in the Champions league. That said, if Barcelona get past Munich then I'd rather play at Stamford bridge than Anfield.

I agree with you, it just made me wonder because Sir Alex discussed it in his press conference.

"You sometimes wonder if being at home first is a good or a bad thing but I think in this modern-day competition there is no indication of what is better, the only thing you hope is that you don't lose a goal in the home tie."
