I agree. DH is a great defensive player and I don't understand why there is so much hate for him either.

I have always backed Derek and I think the main reason he gets ragged on is because the majority of the bandwagon fans began paying attention to the baseball team when we were on the winning streak and into the postseaon... which is when Derek went into his slump to end last year.
I think he needs to be in the lineup now but it will be interesting to see what happens when Chad Jones is back from football
