Trent on ESPN2 right now, and they asked him how he felt about being an 8 seed "after winning the SEC West"

Ya know, technically they were right. The winner of the SEC is the one who wins the tournament.

Not true, pretty sure we raised a banner at the PMAC stating 2009 SEC champions against Vanderbilt. But I do believe you can raise a banner if you win the tournament as well. But I'd rather be regular season champs than the tournament champ any year

Let everyone go ahead and write us off, hell we should have even got a lower seed. We don't deserve to be talked about at all.

Think if they interview Roy Williams or Tom Izzo,they'll stress that his squad was merely the 'regular season' winner and that Duke/Purde was the winner,since they won their tourney ?

Haven't posted here much I see. It is a "rantard" thing that any type of slight toward LSU simply shows how much ESPN hates LSU.

So there can be dual banners. I guess my statement was a little off then.
But, in a down year, you'd be praying for LSU to win the tourney.

I don't think it can get any more "down" than this year. FWIW..I don't think the SEC regular season champion would ever get left out of the big dance.
