that's why i fear les's comments that hinted at him moving to more of this type of recruiting

Texas has a position like USC, where they are by far the #1 team in a vastly populated state (in terms of talent)

USC has some competition, and UCLA may start to chip away. UT has OU in a similar position

however the advantage mack has is that kids literally grow up dreaming of playing for Texas. USC is more of a thing kids want to be a part of, as they became fascinated with the USC hype in middle/high school

i'm not complaining about mack's strategy...it has allowed LSU to get some studs out of Texas

I feel dirty saying it, but I have to agree with you on this one. We could have a solid team just sticking with players who bleed P&G but we aren't paying Les the big buck for a solid team. We've got to get some guys from OOS, and Mack's strategy somehow helps us.

Mack might change his tune if UTSA and North Texas ever establish some recruiting. Nah!
