30 dollars a ticket for the LSU game at Turchin . Their tix are normally 15 .

I would hardly call that
a) That term should really only be used for goods and services that are necessary. You don't have to go the game if you don't like the $$
b) They have to support a program that doesn't bring in a ton of $$. One game vs LSU would be the equivalent to a weekend series as far as attendance goes.
c)$30 is not an unreasonable price to go see the Tigers play.

Sucks.
LSU has been forced to support Tulane athletics like this for years.
Yet another reason why LSU needs to ditch the football home and home w/ Tulane. Pay them to come here and take their beating like we pay ULaLA, LaTech and Troy (oucH). They are no different athletically.

UNO did the same thing, doubling the ticket prices for the LSU game last week, only difference is that $6 tickets became $12, so it didn't look as bad.
UNO and Tulane fans that are not season ticket holders pay the same price, so I don't consider it gouging.

just shows you how chicken shite ( no offense cluckster )the tulane athletic dept is.
last night SLU charged 10 dollars. I am willing to bet that tulane's athletic budget is a hell of lot more than SLU's, still they didn't pull this shite.

UNO did the same thing. It's what small schools do when good programs come to their venue. I paid $8 for my two year to get into the game against UNO.... normally 2 and under are free at UNO games! They get what they can, because they know the local LSU fans will still go.
