I'd much prefer Hanagriff call baseball over Hawthorne...I just had to listen for the whole half inning before he said the score.

IF it is yes or no question only I will say baseball definitely yes. When the choice is between an announcer with a below average voice and limited knowledge and an announcer with a below average voice and great knowledge I will take the second choice (Hannagriff) every time. In basketball couldnt give an objective opinion since havent heard Charlie call Basketball. I do know Charlie and I am sure he would never have called Jack Hunt catching the Blue Grass Miracle so that would be an improvement

But my question to you is why should LSU limit itself if looking for a first rate announcer? When LSU replaced Hallman and DiNardo it did not limit itself to in house choices only so why do that for an announcer the voice of the program why not do a nationwide search for a quality announcer. Would be the first one we have had since John Ferguson retired!!
