SI

Doubtful. Interesting though. Could set an ugly precedent if it happened. But why? College football is far bigger than the CFL.

That would be an insane move. The coaching he would receive at any top-tier college would be light years better than anything he would receive in the CFL.

All he has to do is look at Brandon Jennings playing overseas. Yeah, he is getting paid, but he said he sometimes doesn't even play and it can't be helping his stock. Also, Brown would have to stay in the CFL for 3 years while Jennings will go pro after this year.

He would be stupid to make that decision to go there, and in no way is he worth 15 million dollars. Canadians getting even dumber, amazing

man, this guy screams probation with his "manager". sounds a lot like the Reggie Bush situation...except an SEC school would get hammered unlike USC.

quote:

Brian Butler, the controversial manager of the top-ranked football recruit, Bryce Brown, is open to the idea. Butler told The Times that if approached by a Canadian Football League team, he'd consider sending Brown there. Butler said he planned to have someone explore the possibility of Brown playing in the C.F.L. next season. "If they were talking about any amount of real money, I'd guarantee it," Butler said of Brown potentially playing in the C.F.L. He mentioned a C.F.L. team paying Brown $5 million a year for three years. He added: "We're not playing around.

Two things. If the CFL appraoched me, I woudl consider it to. manager is obviouslu so shary you can't see him at night. He is sending out feelers.

I am told the team salary cap is 4 mil. So, the 5 mil per year does not add up, if that is true.
