Exactly, he had an offer to one of the best programs in the country, and he already had 2 shots to get his act together.

For all you know, his "act" could be a learning disability.

Also, who said that Les pulled the scholly?

Common sense from reading and listening anything people have said the last two days.

He is what 20 years old now, so odds are he wants to play NOW. He can go to Auburn, play for 1 year and become draft eligible, so maybe Benton decided this on his own.

Benton has wanted to go to LSU since late 2006, so I seriously doubt he decided he liked AU more in the last week.

So would this learning disability suddenly disappear if he enrolled at LSU?

Right, he "could" have a learning disability or he "could" just have been pushed through the system. The FACT is neithero ne of us really know, so that argument is null and void until you offer some evidence.

Again, any evidence to this?

Look, I am sure he wanted to go to LSU, and I am not saying he even likes Auburn, but maybe he realized that Auburn gives him the best chance to play on day 1, which is the truth. I think going to Auburn might be better for him in the long run than going to LSU even though he may have wanted to go to LSU.

Go to LSU and sit the bench for 2 years, finally get a chance when you are 22 OR go to Auburn, have a great shot at playing the first year, hopefully tear it up, declare yourself for the draft and play in the NFL when you are 22.

You must know the kid, huh?

Whatever the reason, you are asking Miles to get behind a guy who is a risk to qualify, after 2 years of not qualifying, and thus ensuring that he will land the #1 prospect on his board.

This makes sense to you?
