A lot of people couldn't let go of Saban mainly due to his recruiting skills.

LSU won on the big Louisiana guys, but LSU is the flagship school. Bell Flipping to Bama when LSU only signed 1 true WR in this class is troubling.

Nah! Miles' class is better than Saban's. Saban didn't take Bell, Bell just pussied out because he couldn't compete with Randle.

Bell- Came to Bama because he knew he could probably get on the field quicker than at LSU, you can blame him for that.
Lacy- If it werent for grades id be willing to bet he'd be at LSU.
Sentimore- Grades and the fact Saban was on him from the beginning, another one if it werent for grades he would have been in purple and gold.
Richardson- Was Bama to begin with.
Bell- Came to Bama because he knew he could probably get on the field quicker than at LSU, you can blame him for that.

IMHO
There were TWO legitimate head to head matchups-Randle and Richardson where both teams pulled out all the stops from day one.
The others were low priority-one team really wanted them, the other didn't; Bell,Sentimore, Lacy, Williford, etc....

WR isn't like QB. We bring 3 or 4 in at a time. Why they all scared of one guy?
Honestly, I would take those 3 over Randle (assuming Benton qualifies). I think Shep will play WR, but if he doesn't, getting only 1 wr in this class isn't good.

I'm glad you're not our coaches, because you're insane. Bell hasn't really impressed anyone with the exception of Rivals (and their opinion of him has been dropping all year).
The ONLY reason anyone here wanted him today was for the points towards the MNC. And that is a FACT!
Now that Bell is going elsewhere, expect people's true feelings about his ability to shine through.
Benton is a beast, no doubt. He's also not guaranteed to make it academically, and could bolt for the NFL after 1 year. So you take 3 years (at least) with RR over potentially only 1 with DB.
Kelly, again, is a dima-a-dozen receiver relative the what LSU normally recruits. There are several WRs on LSU's roster who were more highly touted.
So NO, you don't take those 3 over Randle. Especially when you've already got several WRs on the roster, and one of the best in the country in your own backyard for 2010 (T. Reed).
