He was on the radio

Do you or anyone have proof of that?

big day (Posted on 2/1 at 9:33 a.m.)

Why am I all of a sudden nervous?

Either way you guys on this board have been great and that includes the bama fans as well

I probably won't be back on until Wednesday if at all so I wanted to say thanks for all the conversations good and bad

Good luck to all involved

This is a big decision for him and you can't fault him for going somewhere else

This is the only thing I disagree with in your post. I don't understand why I can't fault him. It would be only his fault if he doesn't come here. This doesn't mean I have to stalk him or send nasty emails and phone calls to him, but I don't have to respect him or his decision. I also will not play the game where i'm all of a sudden hoping he has a great career at OU and represents La. well in the Big12. Tiger or Tigerbait... his choice, not ours.

This thread should be called the pre-meltdown meltdown.

I agree, we better hope Benton signs, because Randle appears to be setting up his departure to OK.

I was listening to it.

They first quoted a guy with a local NBC station that he talked to Randle's dad and that basically if Benton signed with LSU, RR was going elsewhere.

I heard that while I was pumping gas.

Then on the way home, Randle's dad called in.

Did anyone on the station say what would happen IF Benton didn't sign with LSU?

These posts remind me of watching Lost lately. "Where are we?"

"It's not Where are we, but When are we...."

Can someone just recap the dang question...we know his dad came on the radio, what did he say?

don't know if you were putting me in the "meltdown" category or not. FWIW, no meltdown here.

I wonder if there is any way they could confirm if it was in fact his father?

It's funny you mention that. I was listening to the radio in Atlanta and someone called up pretending to be someone else and the hosts bought the whole thing until he let them in on it.

This is what we call the stage of denial.
