If you're not up on the renovations to the dome here's some fresh pics. There are now windows on the four "corners" and new gold siding. After the pics an article about it.

i wish they would put something on the roof for instance, maybe a FDL, not necessarily the Saints logo, but something representative of NOLA and the state of Louisiana

Sweet!!
The new roof, new cladding, windows and interior upgrades bring the superdome into the 21st century...let's hope the NFL sees these changes as worthy of a Super Bowl! (now that it looks like the state will work out an agreement with the saints)

Wow so you're not actually going to SEE the windows? I didn't realize that.
I like being able to see into the club lounges on the walk to the Hornets games.
I have to say, I like the "individual" look of the current slats better than I like the "group" look of the new slats.
Hopefully as it ages it will get some of that character back.

Maybe if Coke or Nike or Pepsi or Microsoft or Apple would step up to the plate...
Doubt it would happen in this economy though.
