Oh believe me I've heard the stories of what the Greek system used to be . But unfortunately, you are right about today's Greek system. The days of kegs on the front lawn and 3 day long parties are probably gone forever. Everything is so regulated now that it's hard to have all the fun you want at the house (on campus and technically dry). At UT, I know many, if not all houses are off campus so the university can't put all of the restrictions on them. Plus, that school and many of their fraternities are made of $$$. It's unfair to tell you the truth.

Having said that about the two Greek systems, I definitely I agree with this too:

As an out-of-stater who visited south LA and LSU frequently before becoming a student, but never actually resided in the state, I can guarantee you that Louisiana people are professionals when it comes to partying compared to Texans or anyone else in this country.
