Looking for some advise on where to order a really good king cake. I am from north LA and options are limited. Thanks for any recs.

You can order them from most of the popular bakeries in Nola (Randzzo's, Haydel's, etc), just visit their websites for online ordering. It's pretty pricey though, compared to what a king cake should cost.

Julie Ann's on the Corner of Line and Kings, next to the walgreens and across the street from Byrd High School. They are the best I have found in Shreveport..

I used to live next to Ambrosia in BR. Best I've had, and they ship with extras (a cup, beads, baby, story of Mardi Gras) but they are pricey.

I just saw this thread, clicked the link, & ordered a Large, Traditional King Cake with Rasperry & Cream Cheese filling from Ambrosia for delivery!

Yea, Tubbs is probably the best in the area. Tons of cream cheese.
