History repeats itself as we all witnessed last night after LSU trampled another ACC team in Atlanta with a rather inexperienced quarterback under center. We all know the Flynn story and how he went on from his Peach Bowl performance and won a National Championship. How does Flynn's performance compare to Jefferson's? Will history repeat itself again with JJ or will Mr. Sheppard have something to say about that? It is going to be a long summer.

PS: Im not necessarily talking about stats and numbers here because an LSU quarterback doesn't need to have gaudy Texas Tech like numbers he just needs to have that "swagger."

Well I seriously doubt Lee will come back to take the starting spot, later becoming the #1 overall pick. You have to be more impressed with Jefferson seeing as how that was Flynn's third year at LSU, whereas this is JJ's first. Also, Flynn had a national championship caliber team he was playing, whereas JJ had, well, a team that got blown out on senior day.

Flynn's performance was better.

then again, it was his 3rd year in the program i believe.

I would say Flynn & JJ performances were pretty comparable.

Not sure what you mean by history repeating itself, but after the Peach Bowl, Flynn never started another game for one entire season.
