This shows how ridiculous the asking price was for the two DTs we bowed out on

How the hell have D lineman become the second highest paid behind QB’s?

I would still think that's kind of high and maybe only for say the top 25(or less).

When a kid making 50k sees this he is going to be pissed. Going to show up at his position coach’s office tomorrow.

Are the figures per year or for 3 to 4 years?

I cannot tell you how infuriating it is to see a graphic showing teenagers making triple of what I do.

Big men that can run don’t grow on trees.

Bingo.

There are far more smaller fast people than big men with great athleticism

You gonna lump teenage actors and 19 year old NBA players in that group? Shoot dude, if you’re really talented at something that has a ton of demand that people are willing to pay for in time and attention (as I’m sure you yourself do with college football), you get compensated for that. That’s how the world works. Recognize what you have natural talent for, work hard at honing it, put it to use, experience the benefits. Everyone has different vocations, theirs just happens to be college football for the time being and we pay their salaries with our time and attention. Don’t like it? Stop watching college football.

That factors in guards and centers with the OTs. Both those positions lower the rates the OTs are getting and a decent guard or center is far easier to find than a decent D lineman. The D linemen make pretty much the same across the row because they are just as valuable as the guys beside them. I’d bet your average really good guard probably isn’t getting but 200k at best and your top centers are probably getting 300k at best. Your top OTs are probably getting 750 to 800k range but if you average it across the line…..

Why? That’s capitalism. If you were worth that much as a teenager, you’d have been paid that much too.

Why? If he had been worth that, other schools would have offered him that kind of money and he wouldn’t be making only 50k.

Yea idk if I’d be showing this off on too many sites. Players probably do look at those sites sometimes.

Not talking about you Crown, but the people from 247 who made this

So you're in favor of citizens having information censored because it may not be good for the bottom line or socially acceptable? Small, seemingly insignificant steps toward censorship eventually lead to huge, extremely significant steps toward citizens having no say over the information distributed. That's not an America I want any parts of. Food for thought
