I really don't know why but DeNiro stirring his coffee in Once Upon a Time in America. If you have seen this movie you know the scene I am talking about. Only DeNiro can heighten the intensity of a scene simply by stirring his coffee.

The final scene of "Silence of the Lambs" when Hannibal Lector is speaking to Clarise and he sees the director of the prison where he was housed walking by and he ends the conversation with:
"I'm having an old friend for dinner" and he puts on his hat and slowly stalks the guy.

Nothing really sticks with me anymore, but when I was a kid, the scene from Even Horizon where the guy is hung up with hooks by his skin haunted me.

The ending scene of District 9 will always stay with me. It was just so disturbing to me for some reason, in the worst way.
