Is it everywhere today or just Lake Charles? Nothing puts me in a bad mood quicker.

You live in Lake Charles? Be grateful you have no traffic. I'd take Lake Charles driving 500 days a year over Houston.

Agree - earlier today
I’m second in line at a red light, left lane, on a 2 lane, one direction roadway.
It’s an intersection at a bridge.
Light turns green, vehicle in front starts to make left turn on bridge.
Out of nowhere, a car hauling arse passes me on the shoulder of the road, sideswipes the vehicle in front of me and continues to speed away.
Tried to catch the car but it made a left on the next bridge and disappeared.
Crazy times on the road these days for sure.

That sounds more like wreckless and way beyond just inconsiderate and stupid.
Inconsiderate and stupid is what I found all day yesterday with everyone going 10-15 under the speed limit everywhere.

Working in Sulphur, only spot I could find open was in Iowa. I hated it. The key was getting a place to stay across the bridge. It took me 6 months, but I ended up in Carlyss. My commute went from over an hr to 10 mins.

Definitely is annoying. But if you think lake Charles is bad, have you ever braved I-10 through NOLA east?

Come to Houston. You have:

-slow as frick drivers.
-swerving drivers on phones or just retarded
-it drizzles and the city shuts down
-drivers that drive 150 mph
-road ragers who pull guns on you
-people who don't use blinkers
-people who cut over 5 lanes of traffic at last minute because they changed their minds
-people who don't change their oil and spew thick black smoke right into your a/c
-illegals who hit and run (8/10 drivers who hit you run here)
-drivers who don't think road rules apply to them.
-metro buses that stop every 5 blocks on major roads
and on and on and on.....

EVERY frickING DAY

I drove from lake Charles to Houston last week. I’ve never been on that stretch of road and there isn’t something under construction. Vinton… construction. Cross state line….construction almost all the way to Beaumont. DOT needs to be re-evaluated.
